Supporting the Class of 2020 to grow their networks
Most of us are familiar with the concept of 'six degrees of separation' whereby it is believed that we are all just six social connections, or fewer, away from each other.
With an alumni network of over 17,000 Business School alumni worldwide, the potential to support our graduates who are fresh out of their studies is vast, but it is sometimes hard for them to make the first move.
We are therefore reaching out to the network to see if you can help provide advice, connections or introductions for two of our alumni who completed their undergraduate studies this year. Eden Miller is interested in Marketing/PR, whereas Aaron Wynne is keen to pursue a career in investment management.
Perhaps you can share your experience of how you made your first steps in one of their sectors of interest, what the current hiring position is in your company, and either offer to have an informal conversation with them yourselves or introduce them to colleagues or others in your network who could be good connections for them.
Can you help Eden Miller or Aaron Wynne take the next steps in their career?
