I wanted to take a moment to share an update with you. As many of you know, I’ve long been passionate about sharing insights and tips on fire and life safety through this newsletter. Today, I’m excited to let you know that I’ve joined Telgian Engineering and Consulting as a Senior Fire Protection Consultant. In this new role, I’ll continue to provide the same valuable services as well as the fire and life safety information you’ve come to expect along with updates on how my work at Telgian can help support you and your facilities.

About My Journey

Before beginning consulting and joining Telgian, I served as Fire Chief and Fire Marshal for a Colorado community, where I focused on fire prevention, code enforcement, and emergency management. I also worked as a Life Safety Code Surveyor for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, ensuring healthcare facilities meet CMS and NFPA standards. As a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) through NFPA, I bring a deep understanding of NFPA 101 and NFPA 99, critical to ASC compliance.
