Colorado Gives day provides a great opportunity for supporters of community-based nonprofits like, Muslim Youth for Positive Impact, to donate generously in a simple, quick way. As MYPI expands its programming and community needs increase, there has never been a better time to DONATE to this worthy cause.

What we've been up to in 2022

Mental Wellness Program 

• Hosted a youth poetry slam titled "Shatter the Stigma" to begin the mental health conversation among Muslim Youth
• We have expanded our mental health services to include Psychiatry, therapy and spiritual counseling; we have begun offering such services in 5 mosques, and the Islamic School serving well over 400 families.
• Launched 3 mental health trainings to support our community leaders and youth mentors to better equip them to serve their community.

Mentorship Program 

• We have 39 mentees and 30 mentors for our new round of mentorship
• Organized monthly mentor/mentee activities

Adopt-a-Family 

• We are conducting parenting classes in Dari/Pashto for the refugee community which had over 100 attendees last session.
• We have started a Digital Literacy program for Afghan Refugee women.
• Continue to provide culturally appropriate food relief efforts for refugee families.

Pathways to Success

• 16-week Python programming classes provided to youth
• Led successful Community Engagement for COVID Prevention efforts

Colorado Gives Day and how to donate

Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide event to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Donations are accepted through ColoradoGives.org.
