Do you know what I see as one of the biggest marketing challenges in the B2B world today? Being a marketing agency, we at Skalegrow work with B2B companies in diverse sectors including IT, tech, embedded systems, and a few more. Regardless of the industry, one problem stands out in most of them.

It is the lack of INTEGRATED MARKETING practices. Siloing still exists in B2B marketing teams. As a result, many businesses operate different marketing channels in isolation.

One great example of this is not using SEO to ‘push’ your ABM activities to the next level.

Yes, SEO can improve the results of your ABM campaigns. Here are 2 ways to do this:

  1. Improving the discoverability of your website or content using industry-specific keywords - Are you targeting specific industries using your solutions? Then try using long-tail keywords by adding industry-related terms to your core keywords. For example, at Skalegrow, if we were to target SaaS companies, we would use keywords like ‘saas marketing agency’.
  2. Excellent user experience - Improving website speed can help retain more accounts on your website in a given time. SEO tactics like proper internal linking, industry-specific content, and good website navigation can help better convert customers when you send traffic from your target accounts using other channels like emails.
