IT Support officer
Job Description: ● Responsible for designing the network, server and firewall system in the premises. ● Responding and resolving the support requests related to network, hardware and other IT equipment. ● Install, configure & monitor Linux / Windows Server, Network, Hardware & Software. ● Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve issues and escalate support cases as needed. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, software licensing, and warranty claims. ● Generate procedural documentation, installation guidelines & relevant reports. ● Monitor, Troubleshoot & Support: - In-house servers, network devices & workstation. - Internet, VPN, LAN & Intranet connectivity in data centers. - Bandwidth, process & data usage. - Support, configure, maintain, update and upgrade networks and servers. - Escalate critical situations to appropriate vendors. - Travel outside to branch offices for support. ● Requisition and purchase of all the IT related items in the office. ● Maintaining the record and inventory of the assets of the office. Job Requirements: ● Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, computer science, or any related field. ● Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for end-users. ● Ability to organize tasks and manage multiple priorities. ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
