There is no better feeling than knowing you’ve brought awareness about Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis to at least one person who might not have known about it before you. As we raise more awareness of these debilitating diseases, we have the ability to further our fundraising efforts to impact the lives of those living with IBD. I have reaped the benefits of awareness, fundraising and research first hand - as years ago when I was diagnosed with UC - not nearly as many of the medication options were available then as there are now.
