The Supply Standard 01 ?? ?? ??
At Remcoda, our mission is to deliver a higher standard of supply.
We think it's time we all say no to the supply status quo.
Gone are the pandemic-fueled "supply at all costs" days.
Now it's time to optimize.
We believe that to win in 2023 and beyond you need more than just a supplier or vendor, you need a global supply partner to become an extension of your team to support you.
As your partner, each month we will be publishing this monthly newsletter. Our goal is to keep you up to date on trends and news around all things supply that may affect your business now, or down the road.
Q2 State of Supply
With Covid in the rear-view mirror, many of the large-scale challenges that faced our industry have shifted to a strategy focused on optimization; less skus, less suppliers.
Lead times have improved, and meeting customer demand has replaced the endless chase to deliver.
Both ocean and trucking carriers have stabilized pricing, with rates meeting pre-pandemic levels.?
There is still a risk in volatile raw material and labor costs, with some manufacturers setting the table for potential increases, after they had worked hard to win back customers with lower costs immediately following the pandemic.
