Supply Chain Management - Told you so!

How embarrassing is it for a chain like KFC to not have product in the stores and forced to close? This is a prime example of "Supply Chain management Science" failure. And the cost will be much worse than just a few days of lost sales in the long run.

This important science is one of the least studied and used by single units as well as multi unit operations and it can be crippling to any company in retail, hospitality and service industries.
