Supply chain management and the customer experience

Supply chain management one of the important topics that directly effect the customer experience and the company strategy. According to some studies 40 to 60 percent of the cost of the product is related to the supply chain cost . This cost is spitted in to different areas this including

A- converting the row material in to product or service

B- deliver the product to the warehouse

C- deliver the value to the customer

In many business cases the lack of capturing the marketing demands wants is putting the company strategically in difficulty as rise of the intermediaries contracts cost warehouse cost and product or service delivery cost . This will put the business as well in salutations where they will have concerns cutting cost the supply chain which lead to increase the time to delivery and reduction of the value delivered to the customers through the value delivery network . Instead of that the companies needed to understand the demand and the customer needed from the outside in view . As result the companies will have more accurate understand of what the customers really need this will enable them to focus on the profitable customer value and eliminates low value activities.

One of the main challenges the organizations needed to consider in order to Position it self in a good Market Position . they needed to consider the flowing

1- The level of the Marketing Channels and map theses with Value delivery network

and the Journey Map .

2- non Nonnegotiable Standardization of the customer Expectations and to be Part of Vendor Relations and selections Responsible for Value delivery .
