How do we overcome the lead time gap ?

Visibility, flexibility, speed, predictability, scalability are major elements that provide best approach to overcoming lead time gap in supply chain.

Visibility - have full visibility of customers demand, supply source, inventory levels, promotional plan.

Flexibility- on product development, sourcing, manufacturing and logistics.

Speed-The end-to-end cycle time from manufacture to distribution. How smaller is your time cycle ? smaller the better.

Predictability - There must be capabilities to accurately predict the changes in supply chain by all supply chain participants

Scalability - There should be the ability to respond to demand changes.
