Position: Head of Supply Chain Management
Team: 100+ people including factory
Salary: 25-30M JPY with flexibility
Go-to-market E2E responsibilities:
- Own the company S&OP process and continuous improvement. Lead the E2E planning including Demand, supply, inventory, and RPM planning. Improve the forecast accuracy and SC operational efficiency
- Connect with customers and internal customer service team, to translate the customer needs into our operational process and capability, improving the customer centric customer service requirement
- Deliver logistics operation KPIS and logistics network design/3PL management to deliver high logistics service level with efficient cost
Innovation and CM management responsibilities:
- Takes care of supply chain with end-to-end view, contribute to successful innovation projects, and continuously bring margin improvement, agility improvement, reduce business waste to drive business growth
- Step in early stage from idea phase, own network to the innovation team, bring resource with team and CM to innovation team the right CM resource, prototype, technology, packaging, etc. to bring the project deliver on time
- Closely work with Procurement, R&D to contribute to business case, deliver reasonable cost structure to innovation, drive 5S saving
- Closely work with Go-to-market team to bring agility to business, successfully deliver OTIF for first 3 month pipeline;
- Lead Japan CM strategy, drive partnership and assist building CM playbook
Manufacturing E2E responsibilities:
- Lead Japan factories- operational efficiencies, quality and cost
- Lead the E2E profitability improvement of operating categories through integrated optimized supply chain and future proofing of factory operations
- Own operational budgets for the factories and ensure delivery against the agreed budgets, covering all areas of spend on the site (People cost, energy, Maintenance, Materials usage...)
- Reduce Raw Materials waste and organise the manufacturing teams optimally
- Own annual and longer-term capital budgets and take responsibility for implementation of approved projects for the factories
- Accelerate E2E digitalization and automation to improve the agility and responsiveness
- Co-work with business teams on design for value strategy including portfolio choice and route to market strategies
Key Interfaces and relevant stakeholders for this role:
- Japan Leadership team
- Engagement with SU-level strategy and performance management forums
- Reports to the VP Supply Chain North Asia
Required Knowledge and Experiences:
- Prior experience in a similar role in a supply chain or manufacturing environment (Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service, Quality are must)
- A proven track record in Leadership, particularly in leading digitalization, new disruptive supply models for EC business
- Ability to quickly move between large scale strategic decision making and deploying tactical resources to solve short-term supply chain challenges
- Highly adaptable and entrepreneurial, as well as passionate networker
- Driven by innovation and strong change affinity
- Embrace a high growth mindset with strong love for consumers, shoppers, and customers
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills with diverse, multi-functional stakeholders

- Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is preferred.
