With this fast generation , People want to use their brain less and want any task easy and simple. Whereas , There are generations whose brain prefers convenience over simplicity.There are generations who don't care with the technical stuff like storage , one in all , high graphics or many options. They are just expecting that for the purpose they need technology should get fulfilled with ease. But also the totally opposite generation who thinks If i have all in one then shouldn’t i go with that , If I can save storage of my phone by using only one instead of 4 that why shouldn’t i choose that etc etc.So, Super Apps and One purpose apps are fulfilling expectations of different people.Before diving into that ,Let’s have a look of the meaning of those.

Super Apps : Super apps essentially serve as a single portal to a wide range of virtual products and services. The most sophisticated — apps like WeChat and Alipay in China — bundle together online messaging (similar to WhatsApp), social media (similar to Facebook), marketplaces (like eBay) and services (like Uber).?

Single Purpose Apps : One app, one sign-in, one user experience — for virtually any product or service a customer may want or need.

There are few advantages of Super Apps and also disadvantages as well and similar for Single purpose apps as well.

Advantages/Disadvantages of Super Apps and One purpose apps :

1. Because the targeted audience of super apps is very wide, covering huge regions, such a type of solution reduces risks associated with product launches Whereas One purpose apps have a huge risk of success as it might use for only one purpose and if your app fails giving user that experience , There are a lot of chances of failures of an application.
2. Lower product ownership and development costs , Most of the ‘mini-apps’ on WeChat were not developed in-house, but created through integration by companies who wanted to conduct business with WeChat’s immense user base. Most ‘super apps’ follow the platform-based approach to scale their products. One purpose apps need development cost , ownership of everything as a separate resource.
3. Helps Saving Storage : As with the one app , You can fulfill multiple purposes. You don’t need to install all different applications and even it is less moving between apps if you want to use 2 or 3 apps at time to complete listed tasks.Whereas If you have single purpose app and you are frequent user of apps for every app , You need to do to and fro between all apps.
4. Super Apps increase the complexity of apps. Sometimes for those users who are not really connected to technology much might not know the purpose of each module available in the app and it just adds overhead for them.
