A new version of the SuperTrak GEN3? TrakMaster software is now available! Version 3.0.50.0 includes a minor maintenance update, but more significantly, it is now available with a simplified Chinese translation. Our current customers can use the new version through LeapFile.

Q: What is the typical power consumption of the SuperTrak GEN3? system required to move the shuttles through the system?
A: Nearly all electrical motor power consumption occurs during the shuttles' acceleration and deceleration; very little power is required to maintain velocity and standstill. Therefore, the average machine power draw may need to be higher- 300- 400 Watts, for example. Of course, the power supply requirements must account for the peak power requirements. For this reason, it is recommended to perform a system simulation to identify peak power requirements.
