Supersedeas Fund Reimbursement via Direct Deposit Now Available

Claimants and their representations are no longer the only ones who can receive workers’ compensation money via direct deposit. The Commonwealth has established new protocols if you would like your supersedeas fund reimbursements to be made via direct deposit.? To do so, you must be a registered Commonwealth of PA vendor. to receive payments via direct deposit.? Vendor registration instructions and forms can be found by clicking here: Office of Budget Website then navigating to the “Popular Topics” section. Once there, you would need to select the “Find Vendor Registration, Information, and Tools” tile and click on the “Direct Deposit and E-Remittance” button.?? Questions about the process can be made to the Payable Services Call Center at 877-435-7363.? The call center is open Monday through Friday 8 am through 4:30 pm EST.? ?

After your registration and direct deposit information is confirmed by VDMU, you must send an email to Special Funds at [email protected] to confirm that you would like your reimbursements via direct deposit.? It is imperative that you be careful throughout the process to make sure that information in the email and the registration match, as any mismatches will cause a delay in the issuance of payments.? #workerscomp #pennsylvania #directdeposit

I am a participant in a sepersedeas fund focus group. The fund is trying to improve the process and make things easier for users. They are doing a great job. If anyone has any thoughts on how to streamline the submission process, please let me know. I will be happy to take your suggestions back to the fund.
