Superior Diesel and Bell Power Systems Celebrate Their 2023 Interns

Superior Diesel and Bell Power Systems, a leading diesel engine value-added distributor, is honored to celebrate a group of seven talented individuals who joined the company for their 2023 summer internship program. Five interns worked at the Superior Diesel headquarters in Rhinelander, WI and two interns worked at Bell Power, a subsidiary located in Essex, CT. All interns provided strength and passion to numerous departments.

Superior Diesel established a unique summer internship program over 15 years ago that allows young adults to rotate through multiple departments providing them exposure to ignite their professional careers and gain real world experience. Interns that are welcomed back the following summer are able to hone their skills and spend the entire summer in one department to deepen their understanding and skills and help confirm their future career paths.

The program has been mutually beneficial for the company and the interns as they provide great insight into current education trends and cultural generation motivators while working alongside our hardworking team members.?They end the summer by presenting their portfolio projects which showcase their months of hard work and accomplishments to executive management.

Meet Our Interns

Brooke LaDuke of the University of Connecticut, majoring in Business Management, would like to pursue a career that focuses on her new marketing and sales experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, singing, and drawing.

Brendan LaDuke of the University of Connecticut, majoring in Communications with the dream of pursuing a career in sales. His personal interests include lifting weights, spending time with loved ones, enjoying the weather, listening to music, and relaxing by the water.

Kendra Durkee of the University of Wisconsin Stout, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance hopes to expand her knowledge of analyzing data and developing improvements for the company and department performance. Outside of the office, Kendra enjoys spending time outdoors.

Jacob Gervais of Michigan Tech, studying Mechanical Engineering, is thrilled to apply the engineering skills he has learned to real world applications. In Jacob’s free time, he loves spending time with friends, fishing, and snowmobiling.

Andrew Henrichs of the University of Wisconsin Madison is pursuing a double major in Management and Finance. This summer Andrew was inspired to make new connections while gaining professional experience. Andrew is passionate about golfing and checking off bucket list courses in the future.

Paige Fletcher, a graduate of Rhinelander High School, aspires to learn more about numerous departments and the types of opportunities she could pursue in the future. Paige enjoys painting and going on road trips.

Cody Bednarz, a graduate of Three Lakes High School, hoped to join a company that would expand his knowledge of engines and mechanical work. Cody has recently accepted a full-time position on the production line. Cody’s favorite hobbies are playing guitar and riding motorcycles.
