Superintendent, Processing - Canada

The Company

A global resource corporation holding mining operations across several countries spanning Nth & South America. To be based at the organisation's largest open-pit operation in Canada, a Processing Superintendent is currently sought to lead and drive plant operations within the processing department.

The Role

• Plan, lead & drive production activities within the processing plant;
• Achieve budgeted processing plant performance via throughput and cost;
• Develop & implement plant operations improvement strategies
• Engage as an active member of the leadership group;
• Develop, coach and mentor personnel within the plant operations team;
• Ensure best practice cost management and control procedures;
• Drive a zero-compromise workplace, health and safety culture.

The Requirement

• Relevant qualification/s in process or mineral extraction discipline;
• Qualification/s in management or leadership discipline advantageous;
• Extensive?flotation plant operations?experience;
• Prior experience working in the same or similar level role;
• Effective interpersonal, leadership and mentoring skills;
• Strong business focus and commercial acumen;
• Uncompromised commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
