Supercomputer on Every Desk

In the last few decades, the computational power of the computers has increased constantly. The speed of the processors has improved, but also the number of cores in almost every processor type keeps growing.

As the possibility to compute more and better has become true, the level of the problems to solve has also grown at least in the same speed. Traditionally, desktop computers have not been able to solve these big problems, so the data centers have been built instead. But soon the problems have reached the capacity of the data centers and they have not been able to handle the peak loads any more.

What is required, is scalability. Possibility to get more capacity when needed, and only for the time when needed. The clouds. But using of the clouds requires changes and configuration, it requires building a new environment to support the tools and languages you are using. Or you need to learn the new tools and convert your problems for them.

That's why we did found Techila. To make it possible to use the tools and languages you like, and to let you keep using them on your own desktop. Still having the capacity and the scalability to get the problems solved fast, but integrated seamlessly to the environment you have already built on your own desktop. Let it be MATLAB, Python, R, C#, C/C++, Fortran or a black box binary executed from command line, you don't need to care about configuring the cloud or the software licenses, just use it.
