Today, we'll guide you through a straightforward tutorial to enable inline editing on your Avonni Data Table within screen flows. This additional feature is set to make your Salesforce workflow efficient and genuinely seamless.

?? Step 1: Configure the Avonni Datatable Component

1. Navigate to your Flow.
2. Drag and drop the Avonni Data Table component onto your canvas.
3. Select the Avonni Data Table component.
4. Open the Component Builder to access advanced settings.

?? Step 2: Link the Data Source to the Avonni Data Table

1. Still within the Component Builder, go to the "Data Source" section.
2. Select "Variable" as your data source.
3. Associate the Get Records collection that you've created in your screen flow.
4. Drag and drop the field columns on the left side directly onto the Data Table component.

?? Step 3: Make a Field Editable

1. In the Component Builder, navigate to the "Data Mapping" section.
2. Click on the field you want to make editable.
3. Scroll down and look for the "Editable" toggle.
4. Check the "Editable" toggle to enable inline editing for the chosen field.
5. Save your changes.

?? Step 4: Create the On Save Interaction

Before we get into the step-by-step, let's take a moment to understand the "Interactions" panel. The Interactions Panel in the Component Builder helps you create guided visual experiences for your users. You can navigate in Salesforce, launch another flow, show a toast message, and do much more—all without writing a single line of code!

1. Navigate to the "Interactions" panel within the Component Builder.
2. Click the "Add Save" button to define what happens when end-users save their inline edits.
3. Select "Update Records" to specify that you want the inline edits to update Salesforce records.
4. Save your changes.

?? Bonus Tip: Mass Inline Editing Update You can also select multiple records and perform mass updates with inline editing! Just check the boxes next to the records you want to edit and make changes.
