Super September

Wow, is it me or are the months just flying by now the closer we get to Christmas? ?Yes, I went there sorry! ??

September has been a super busy month since the world had awoken from the holiday ??? season and now it was time to deal with enquiries and get busy attending events and networking.

News:

I became a Business Buzz Ambassador for Peterborough and look forward to regularly attending Buzz Peterborough and Cambridge. ?Peterborough next meets on Tuesday 15th October at The Queens Head, whereas Cambridge is on Thursday 3rd October at The Plough in Fen Ditton.? Meetings are just ￡10 + VAT including a drink. Plenty of pure networking at the two super venues. ?Contact Stephen Spencer for more information.

September was the month I also launched my new service doing LinkedIn Audits for just ￡175. I go on a deep dive into your LinkedIn profile and back 6 months through content and engagement, drawing up my findings in a report and giving relevant up-to-date recommendations to help you succeed on the platform.

Chicken Wing Networking – this proved very popular indeed run by ?? Hazel Andrews-Oxlade The Lancaster Lounge in Yaxley.? Great event with 50 or so people in the room and a local history lesson as well as delicious chicken wings.

The Local View Expo, a new event for local businesses in Peterborough run by ???? Sara Hemp BA (Hons) ???? and Julie Marsh FCIPD The Local View did themselves proud ?????? at The Kingsgate Conference Centre in Peterborough a thoroughly enjoyable day. ?

Rutland Business Network - proving as popular as ever with a great presentation and excellent food. While I've not received any direct business from the event I am certainly building and growing relationships with other local business owners and sometimes it's just nice to have more of a social evening than full-on networking. September certainly has been a month of change, with many changes on LinkedIn, videos, algorithms, new features, and top voice badges to be on their way out. So much for videos flying as my Image and text posts still massively outperform video content! So my view is to use a mix of content both business and personal to tune up and into your network.
