I am glad that I have a mentor.
A mentor not only shortens the learning curve but also pulls you up from the disaster.
-------------------------------------------
Here is what happened...
I wanted to pursue my heart's calling, Impacting 5 Million Lives.
- Help Recruiters to become the best version of themselves,
- Elevate Recruiters to become the highly paid recruiter.
- My Motto...Recruiters Must Get Respect
Earlier the action & the time I was allocating in my learnings as well as adding value was not enough as per the size of my goal.
My words were not matching my action.
So I had no other choice but to quit from my high profile & highly paid job.

I had so much time and many tasks to complete on a daily basis.
I was doing everything but something was lacking somewhere.
After a month of leaving my job, I have realized that I was not able to control the timings.
I was like...I am doing very less.
--------
That is when I got a call from my Mentor Dev Gadhvi. I didn't answer his calls as I was not able to add more value and make more out of my time as I was planning.
Finally, I called him back right after drafting 5 pages of content to my upcoming book.
------
The phone was ringing...
He answered the call after a 7th ring and said you should never avoid my calls.
I said... for the last two days...there were no tangible achievements from my end. So I wanted to save my face from you. That was the reason I didn't call back.
He added...if you have taken no action then you are liable to be punished.
He again said over the phone...Tell me now what is the problem, what is stopping you to take action?
I replied...I don't know where the time is flying. I thought I will be doing more and more but now it is like the time is just slipping off my grasp.
He replied...I understand! The reason it is happening is ...
1. You have not learned how to live like an Entrepreneur yet.
2. You got a lot of time that your heart & mind are letting you spend more time on those tasks that it has been missing since the last 14+ years.
3. Now...You are loving doing the things which you were expecting to do but due to your job, you were not able to give more time to it.
(The other side I was like...Hell Yes!!! I recollected..As an employee... I was missing the play with my son (5 years), I was dreaming to take my son to playground, I wanted to spend more personal time with my wife, I was trying hard to live a real "DAD" life...taking my kid to shower, dressing him up in his school uniform, dropping him at school, picking him up etc...I didn't wish to have a life without living such a wonderful life with a small growing kid. And now when I got a lot of time, my true ME is living the life it has been dreaming for. )
aahh..
He said...I too have been to that phase. Don't worry! Every employee turned Entrepreneur has to go through that phase. But now, you have to realize...you are not here to have fun. Long way to go my friend.
Today's sacrifice is Tomorrow's happiness!
He rearranged my littered focus...
- Now take your position
- List out what are the tasks you want to accomplish
- Follow the daily rituals
- Focus on adding value
- Finish your book
- Start marketing
- Start socializing
- Start prospecting
In the end...If you feel stuck...
Just I am a call away from you. Don't think...just call.
Good Luck My Man!!!!!
-----
I am so blessed to have such a person in my life as a mentor.
I am back with my full energy and flow. Thanks to my mentor.
