Sunwoda Energy Partners with Green Gold Energy for 200MWh Energy Storage Project in Australia

During All Energy Australia 2024, Sunwoda Energy officially signed a collaboration agreement with Green Gold Energy for their energy storage project. The signing ceremony was attended by John Huang, Managing Director of Green Gold Energy, and Terry Yuan, General Manager of Global Business of Sunwoda Energy.

Green Gold Energy provides turnkey solutions for Solar+ Projects, Green Gold Energy specialises in the development, engineering, construction, operation and general contracting of sustainable energy projects nationwide and has emerged in the field of renewable energy, spearheading sustainable solutions across a variety of industries in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlines a project that will utilise Sunwoda Energy's next-generation NoahX liquid cooling energy storage system and apply industry-leading solar-storage DC coupled technology. This approach will significantly reduce energy conversion losses in solar-storage projects, optimise system efficiency, and enhance the synergy between photovoltaic generation and energy storage systems, thereby greatly improving the overall operational performance of the project.

This collaboration marks a strategic move for both companies within Australia’s renewable energy market, injecting new vitality into the development of the country’s solar and storage industry. The successful implementation of the project is anticipated to significantly enhance the operational efficiency of local solar power plants, promoting the broader application of renewable energy in Australia and providing strong support for the nation’s continued development of clean energy.
