Sunshine Through the Clouds ...

Thanks for making it possible for me to tell you more about the Building the Bridge Foundation in The Netherlands (www.buildingthebridge.eu), located a stone throw away from the Peace Palace in The Hague.

In support of the vast majority of the Israelis and the Palestinians who yearn peace, we are asking you to deploy your pen as your sword and stand side by side, hand in hand with potentially millions of others around the world, from all walks of life and nationalities. This is not just an Israeli-Palestinian thing because if peace is possible there, it is possible everywhere.

Together we can and will invoke Europe to help end a conflict it has started. We propose a set of Catalytic Changes to forestall more cataclysms in the Region so that, at last, sunshine can break through the clouds.

It’s radical. “It’s a bombshell,” my wife tells me. “You’re out of your mind, you’re crazy”, even my best friends tell me to, which I respond: “but not crazier than what is going on now and what’s been happening in the Region for the last 68+ years.” A paradigm shift is about to supervene. Europe is ready and motivated and needs to rebuild the many bridges it has burned throughout the region. Springtime is on the horizon.
