Sunday Reflections

In the Sunday editions of this newsletter, we will look at passages from the Bible on the subjects of faith, joy, love and hope. These verses are found in the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible and I am not going to add anything to them. They are yours and yours alone to reflect on as you wish.

Sunday is a good day to reflect. For some, it is also a good day to look at the week ahead. I want to invite you to be present on Sundays. Last week won't change and next week starts with new promises and a renewed hope. Be mindful about finding new hope as you go throughout the week ahead.

1.) Faith Every Day: Isaiah 7:9

9?The head of Ephraim is Samaria,?and the head of Samaria is only Remaliah’s son. If you do not stand firm in your faith,?you will not stand at all.’”

2.) Joy Every Hour: 1 Chronicles 16:33

33?Let the trees of the forest sing, let them sing for joy before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth.

3.) Love Every Minute: Exodus 20:6

6?but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

4.) Hope In Each Second: Psalm 119:74

74?May those who fear you rejoice when they see me,????for I have put my hope in your word.
