Sunday Reflections
In the Sunday editions of this newsletter, we will look at passages from the Bible on the subjects of faith, joy, love and hope. These verses are found in the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible and I am not going to add anything to them. They are yours and yours alone to reflect on as you wish.
Sunday is a good day to reflect. For some, it is also a good day to look at the week ahead. I want to invite you to be present on Sundays. Last week won't change and next week starts with new promises and a renewed hope. Be mindful about finding new hope as you go throughout the week ahead.
1.) Faith Every Day: Judges 9:16
16?“Have you acted honorably and in good faith by making Abimelek king? Have you been fair to Jerub-Baal and his family? Have you treated him as he deserves?
2.) Joy Every Hour: Judges 9:19
19?So have you acted honorably and in good faith toward Jerub-Baal and his family today? If you have, may Abimelek be your joy, and may you be his, too!
3.) Love Every Minute: Genesis 29:20
20?So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her.
4.) Hope In Each Second: Psalms 33:18
18?But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,?on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
Until next week,
