In the Sunday editions of this newsletter, we will look at passages from the Bible on the subjects of faith, joy, love and hope. These verses are found in the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible and I am not going to add anything to them. They are yours and yours alone to reflect on as you wish.
Sunday is a good day to reflect. For some, it is also a good day to look at the week ahead. I want to invite you to be present on Sundays. Last week won't change and next week starts with new promises and a renewed hope. Be mindful about finding new hope as you go throughout the week ahead.
1.) Faith Every Day: Malachi 2:11
11?Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the Lord loves by marrying women who worship a foreign god.
2.) Joy Every Hour: Ezra 3:12
12?But many of the older priests and Levites and family heads, who had seen the former temple, wept aloud when they saw the foundation of this temple being laid, while many others shouted for joy.
3.) Love Every Minute: Leviticus 19:18
18?“‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
4.) Hope In Each Second: Psalm 147:11
11?the Lord delights in those who fear him,?who put their hope in his unfailing love.
Until next week,
Choose Hope -
