Sunday Read: Aid for Kherson

Dear patreons, dear followers & dear interested readers,

This article will give you a glimpse what our volunteers have experienced over the last weeks, giving their all for the catastrophe relief of the flooding in Kherson, resulted from the Kachovka dam destruction. This tragic event marks the second largest humanitarian disaster in Ukraine since Chernobyl.

However, through mutual efforts, volunteers and rescue professionals hand in hand, it was possible to make help arrive fast, preventing an even worse outcome.

Our volunteers were rushing to help on boats, reaching the flooded areas as one of the first respondents. The boats, packed with essential humanitarian goods, were floating along the flooded streets of Kherson. Many communities were cut off by the flooding, unable to have access to food and fresh water.
