*Gustave Le Bon was a French social psychologist, sociologist, and anthropologist, born in 1841 and died in 1931. He is best known for his research on crowd psychology, notably through his influential book "The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind" published in 1895. In it, Le Bon discusses how individuals in a crowd lose their capacity for individual reasoning, becoming more emotional and capable of actions that they, as individuals, would find unthinkable. His theories have significantly impacted sociology and social psychology.
