Sunday Morning Reflections
In the Sunday editions of this newsletter, we will look at passages from the Bible on the subjects of faith, joy, love and hope. These verses are found in the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible and I am not going to add anything to them. They are yours and yours alone to reflect on as you wish.
Sunday is a good day to reflect. For some, it is also a good day to look at the week ahead. I want to invite you to be present on Sundays. Last week won't change and next week starts with new promises and a renewed hope. Be mindful about finding new hope as you go throughout the week ahead.
1.) Faith Every Day: Malachi 2:10
10?Do we not all have one Father[a]? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our ancestors by being unfaithful to one another?
2.) Joy Every Hour: 2 Chronicles 30:26
26?There was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the days of Solomon son of David king of Israel there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem.
3.) Love Every Minute: Exodus 34:6-7
6?And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7?maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”
4.) Hope In Each Second: Psalm 146:5
5?Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.
Until next week,
Choose Hope -
