I’m on 5F on an Athens bound flight from Santorini and I’m enjoying one of the few exceptions of when time almost stands still. Similarly to the long and slow paced months of the pandemic or the lazy days of summer, time can be put to good use without any angst or guilt. I take out my favourite magazine, amongst other Sunday publications, and off I read, occasionally overlooking the beautifully looking manicured shores of the Cyclades outside my window.?
Back to Saturday afternoon and we’re in the centre of Athens running chores from one place to another. It’s what I detest the most, this feeling of the busy weekday worker that only has a fraction of their life available on weekends to run errands and do the small but essential things in life. Luckily, in the spur of the moment, we head south and get a table at LSKSIA. And instead of losing time with mediocre food in new or old Athenian establishments, we opt for the baddest thick spaghetti crayfish pasta in town. And to top it all off, we skip the part where we exchange nonsense pleasantries with our new friend from the States and start getting into the more meaningful parts. Time is the new currency.
So here’s a thing. What would you do most if you knew you only had x amount of time left in your life? And this is not the standard question where one would answer climb Mount Everest or stop work altogether. That may well be, but the question is mostly hinting on what is important to you and what not.
How would you chose to spend your time daily instead of rushing to the office, speedwalking to a meet-up, chit-chatting with colleagues, attending that boring friends gathering and all sorts of other norms??

What if for every single minute on all of the above you had to pay up a certain amount of money? Where would you spend your buck on?
