Sunday Charge

We all need to recharge our batteries, and Sunday is a great day for getting up early and getting it done, especially when we "fall back" and have an "extra" hour in which to do so.
Failures
I have experienced a few like this morning. I awoke shortly before 6am, or so I thought. My Amazfit "Zepp" powered watch failed to fall back. Yes, it was actually only 4:49am. The good news? I instantly realized the extra hour and began to plot its application.
This morning I spent an hour thinking about a new potential project. Then, as usual, I headed out for coffee, recharging the Towncar, and more thought on life, business, and the pursuit of happiness.
Successes
I have experienced a LOT more successes than setbacks. For example, last night I received a call on this new project. This businessman (a former client of many years) is launching a new venture and had decided on several workarounds based on budget considerations. Quickly and with the help of #PerplexityAI and #Canva I rendered a single image and shared it, stating that options exist and not all of them require more money.
Peter Drucker used to preach that Innovation and Marketing are the only two things that increase the bottom line of a business. Today, with the barriers to entry dropping significantly due in no small part to LLMs, I preach #Disruption and #Marketing.
Disruption
To me innovation is incremental. Disruption is more like drinking from a firehose! Yes, small changes matter and are necessary but not sufficient. We each need disruptive insights that allow us to replace our products or processes BEFORE the competition has a chance to strike in our marketplace. As the brilliant Colonel John Boyd suggested as he birthed what became the F16 Fighter Jet, sometimes we need to take out a clean sheet of paper and start over!

Marketing
If you don't spend time on each of the four, five, or six Ps of traditional Marketing, looking for the vectors of disruption, you do not understand Marketing with a capital "M"!
Hint
It is not about Advertising, Sales, or even Social Media. And yet those are all tools that are embedded in good marketing practices today.
Find a Need and Fill It!
So, how can you get your head around these new concepts?
