From next Tuesday until Thursday (03/15-17), we'll be hosting our?annual digital experience conference:?Adobe Summit 2022.?For me, it will be the 4th Summit that I have been able to actively participate in and contribute to as MD of Adobe Central Europe and as someone who is deeply fascinated by CX technology.?Having experienced Summit for so many years now, I thought this would be a good opportunity to have a brief look on the agenda with you and to share some recommendations in the run-up to next week's event. If you don't have time to read any further: Summit is just around the corner - go?sign up?now. It will be worth it!

What I always?appreciated?is the intentional openness of the event in terms of experience and job level. Whether you've just started to get interested in marketing and customer experience or you're a CMO at the top of an international company, you're sure to find suitable sessions that will inspire you and take you further professionally.?We have another truly diverse program for you this year.?Inspiring keynotes and over 200 (!) sessions accessible to anyone who is?eager to learn and further?improve their work. Inspiring keynotes and customer case studies as well as training workshops packed with insights and learnings that will help you gain and amplify your skills. This is a great opportunity to recharge fresh ideas and meet with excellent new people?from a broad spectrum of backgrounds.

So my first general recommendation would be that you put together your own program. Make it YOUR conference! You can easily do this by selecting sessions and adding them to your personal schedule, so you don't miss anything you are curious about. This event is definitely for you if you are interested in Analytics, Content Management, Omnichannel Marketing, Digital Commerce, Customer Data Management?or wish to grasp current business trends and get inspired.?The?content tracks?on our website will give you a useful overview.

This time it’s about to get personal?

One topic that we will pay special attention to this year is personalization.?Personalization is no longer optional. Customers are rushing to digital channels like never before, and even though there is less personal interaction, they still expect personalized experiences. With consumer expectations at an all-time high?and the end of third-party data, our industry face major challenges. But there is also good news: Everything is in place to deliver top-notch customer experiences. The technology is ready to offer highly personalized experiences at scale, omnichannel and even in real time! Or in other words: There is no excuse for bad customer relations anymore.

In line with this, I will be meeting a real thought leader?in this field. I'm looking forward to a conversation with Dr. Jens Thiemer, Senior Vice President Customer & Brand BMW. The premium car manufacturer will invest a three-digit million amount annually in the digitalization of their sales and marketing.??BMW is fully committed to digital, to offer nothing less than the best customer experience in the industry and sell 25% of their cars ONLINE, already by 2025.?

The two talks with John Donahoe, President & CEO of NIKE and Deena Bahri, who is StockX's first-ever CMO, will also cover topics related, so don't miss out and mark the corresponding slots in your schedule.?

Another?highlight that you definitely don't want to?miss out on?are our annual Summit Sneaks. Join us again this year as we pull back the curtain and have our engineers show us what they're working on at Adobe Labs. This year, the Sneaks will be hosted by Actress, Philanthropist and Producer Kristen Bell and I can promise you that once again it will be as entertaining as it is exciting to watch what might be inside the upcoming versions of our products and services.

Tech for good

Personally, I am looking forward to Gail J. McGovern, who joined the American Red Cross as president and CEO in 2008. Gail has taken a strong leadership role at the nation’s leading emergency response and blood services organization. Under her direction, the Red Cross has become more effective in fulfilling its mission and is better prepared to face current and future challenges. A true paragon and a good example of how looking at other industries can be extremely enriching.

Finally: Adobe Summit, whether physical or digital, is always an event of “live” connections. My recommendation here is to use our opportunities extensively! The virtual Summit is designed to enable exactly this exchange, this interaction and to?spread knowledge.

Create or join?one-on-one?and group conversations on topics that you want to engage with using the integrated “Braindate platform”. And of course our speakers are also reachable, chat with them directly during their session premieres or get your questions answered during Live Q&As.?

Feel at home and enrich the event with your input, your questions and thoughts. We are really looking forward to welcoming you next week from Tuesday 15th?until Thursday 17th.
