Summer'22 Internship Experience at TransMontaigne

I have completed my summer internship as a System Analyst intern in the Terminal Automation Specialist (TAS) team at TransMontaigne Partners LLC.

TransMontaigne Partners LLC is a leading provider of terminaling, storage, transportation, and related services to the energy industry. We are a growth-oriented company that owns and operates a diversified network of midstream terminals in strategic markets throughout the United States. Our highly contracted terminals and pipelines provide essential storage and transportation services to our customers, who are distributors and marketers of a wide array of petroleum products, crude oil, chemicals, fertilizers, and other liquid products. Our sophisticated terminal facilities provide custom processing and blending of additives to our customers’ specifications to meet demands in each market.

My tasks and responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and enhancing comprehensive data sets and reports, designing artistic dashboards and stories to monitor our operational data performance, and analyzing more analytically using Tableau. I am also responsible for building applications and automation solutions using an intelligent low-code software platform. I also gained the ability to develop my scripting skills in Linux and gain more in-depth information about the Linux environment. Additionally, I build and test the virtual machines and backup the active and utilized systems for our terminals activities to ensure they all work well. This internship helps me to understand the technical part as well as the business prospects of our company.?
