Summer Street Art Shows Heating Up

You know it is summer when the street art shows start happening. The kickoff, in my opinion, is the Bushwick Collective. Between last weeks Jerkface show and this weekend's Hanksy show there's is some great street art going on right now.

Jerkace is back with a show focused on the donut. His round paintings in this show are getting bigger and more graphic. With a huge following in Japan in NY, his show is sure to sellout.

Hanksy, famous for his DumpTrump image was part of Market Surplus a three-day street art show that had a huge opening last night. The show also has other well-known artists such as Buff Monster and Faust. Market Surplus can be seen at 140 Essex Street.
