Summer Reading For The Body Language Enthusiast
Every time I speak somewhere people ask quite a few of the same questions. The number 2 or 3 question is usually “What are some books on body language you would suggest?”
There are some really good ones. There are also plenty to stay away from as well. Here’s a short list to get you off to a great start and headed in the right direction.
Reading these books will give you an extremely well rounded view of nonverbal communication. None of these authors are “absolutists”. By that I mean they don’t teach “Every time you see THIS it means THIS.”
These authors write from an angle of relating real world experience as it relates to what is happening with your real world experience in real time. In other words these are written the right way. The cues and tells they point out suggestthey don’t insist as to what is happening and what you are seeing.
