As I enjoy the ability to turn my alarm clock off, I'm faced with the reality of missing my students from the previous school year. However, as I was thinking this, I checked my classroom app, Dojo, and found so many messages from my students and their parents. One message read, "Ms. Jackson, what are you doing? I'm in church and where are you? I miss you and I love you." Another message read, "Ms. Jackson, just thinking about you," and a few others. I learned this year the benefits of not only teaching your students, but working with your parents, respecting your students and allowing your students to love you back. Such a great group of students and I'm praying for another amazing year this school upcoming year.
