As we continue into summer, it’s time to make sure you’re up-to-date on indoor home maintenance! Keeping on top of these tasks helps save money, improve quality of life, and avoid bigger issues in the future. So here's a list of quick home maintenance tasks to help keep your home in top shape!?
Wash Windows and Check Screens
It’s time to clean out all the dust or grease on the inside of your windows and tracks! As you clean, take a look at your screens and make sure they’re in good shape. Bonus points if you clean your sliding door tracks to help them open and close easier.
Ceiling Fan Maintenance
Did you know that switching the direction of your ceiling fan blades can help keep you cooler? During summer months, the blades should be set to spin?counter-clockwise, pushing air down to create a cool breeze. (Just don’t forget to switch it to clockwise during the cooler months to encourage an updraft for warmer air). Take the time to also tighten loose screws, change lightbulbs, and dust the blades as needed.?

To help your fridge run more economically, clean out the dust and pet hair that may have gathered on your fridge’s coils. ?
Change Air Conditioner Filter
