Summer Endings and Fall Beginnings

Are you a business owner or entrepreneur overwhelmed and frustrated by what it takes to succeed? Specializing in 50-plus women. AI business development and marketing briefs.
It was a weird and challenging summer for me. Do you relate? It was either too wet or too hot to truly enjoy the outside. My business fluctuated between slow and very busy and a lot of noise: between lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and my work on my house, I often had to surrender to the one thing that has always been my greatest escape and resource: reading.
I thought I would share with you a few of my recommended readings and my upcoming activities:
Fiction:
- Bill Gates usually picks ten summer reads, and this summer, he picked 2. This book is one of them. It is unique in the story, and it is an excellent read.
- This story is about family and sisters and storytelling. Still, it's also an examination of identity, the consequences of doing love badly, and how love can be redeemed.
– Now, if you want to sit down and escape, the following two books will do this for you. They are about 5th-grade writing; they read quickly and hold attention. One Sunday, I put myself in the Chase lounge at 10 in the morning and read until 4.
– This is a sequel.
Non-Fiction
– This book is written as the solution to our global workplaces' most significant problems. Bonnie has done this with heart, rare authenticity, and rock-solid data. I highly recommend this book. Bonnie and I have been working together for three years, and it is a gift in my life to support her and her mission.

- Play Bigger shows why it's so important to build category kings and what it takes to succeed in this new discipline of category design. This is a must-read book for all brand marketers, VCs, and board of directors who want to take market creation into their own hands."
– This is a very well-written book, and while it is a book about how to write a book, it is valuable to understand how to differentiate yourself. I enjoyed it.
Health
-"Kelly and Juliet have long been at the forefront of translating complex health and fitness concepts into practical, accessible tools to help us move better. They are masters in this domain and Built to Move distills their vast knowledge into widely applicable daily habits and tools to help you move better and live better."
This book offers a revolutionary approach to anti-aging that will help you up your game at any age.
- A true pioneer and leading voice in integrative medicine, Dr. Eliaz presents a profound yet practical healing model through fascinating research and inspirational patient stories. The Survival Paradox is a much-needed paradigm shift that offers life-changing inspiration and guidance for deep, transformative healing on all levels.
I hope this short list of my extensive reading benefits you. If you read anything you love, I would like to hear about it.
Here’s to growing and learning and finding peace.
Sincerely,
Shelly Berman-Rubera
