Summer is the perfect time to give your business a little boost even when you don't have your normal time to spend in front of your computer. Here are ten quick and easy actions, each between 15 and 30 minutes, to keep your business thriving while you enjoy the sunshine!
1. Update Your Social Media Profiles
Spend 15 minutes refreshing your social profiles. Add recent achievements, check/update your links, update your headline, and ensure your summary reflects what you're currently selling and your expertise.
2. Engage with Your Audience
Take 20 minutes to respond to comments and messages on your social media platforms. Engaging with your audience builds stronger relationships and increases your visibility.
3. Review Your Website
Spend 30 minutes reviewing your website for any outdated information. Update your bio, check for broken links, and make sure your services are clearly listed. If you've not made any changes to it in a few months, make a few changes to boost your SEO.
4. Create a Quick Social Media Post
Take 15 minutes to create a value-packed social media post. Share a quick tip, a motivational quote, or a behind-the-scenes look at your business. This is a great time to create a list of tips on how you manage work/family/sanity over the summer holidays! Make it even easier by grabbing my list of 120 Social Media Hooks here!
5. Organise Your Inbox
Dedicate 20 minutes to clean up your email inbox. Delete unnecessary emails, respond to urgent messages, and organise the rest into folders for easy access. This is a great time to unsubscribe from all those lists you never read emails from!
6. Schedule Content
Use 30 minutes to schedule your social media posts for the week. Automate your posts, repost old material and/or use evergreen content to help you maintain a consistent online presence without daily effort.

7. Brainstorm Blog Ideas
Take 15 minutes to brainstorm and jot down a list of blog post ideas. This can help you stay ahead with content creation and ensure you always have topics ready to go.
8. Update Your Instagram Highlights
Let's be honest - when was the last time you put anything new in your highlights?
9. Reach Out to a Connection
Take 15 minutes to reach out to a business contact you haven’t spoken to in a while. A quick check-in can rekindle relationships and open up new opportunities.
10. Reflect on Your Goals
Spend 30 minutes reviewing your business goals. Reflect on your progress so far and make any necessary adjustments to your plans for the rest of the year.
All these small actions add up and won't take up a lot of time. You can keep your business moving forward without sacrificing any of your precious holiday time!
Enjoy the sunshine!
