Summer breaks over and done??

We finally got to enjoy a bit of summer and the players in our different games got some much-needed rest. In August everyone was back in full action, and we came out the gate swinging!
What did August have in store for SKADE?
Fan Engagement
Even though the players had weeks off, most of the staff decided to stay in and keep building on our future branding. Fan engagement is key in esports, and detailed planning allows for effective workflow. We have a lot of stuff to share after both our CODM and PUBG squad had bootcamps and we tested out tons of ideas and concepts in social media. Even with player breaks we still had a social media reach growth of 12.65% compared to July ???
Esports?
Sure, some players had a break, but my lord what a month we had!! August was short but packed with big matches and our biggest accomplishment to date in the scene.
Our Call of Duty Mobile squad have been destroying every opponent thrown at them lately and August was the mother of all months. Staying together at a bootcamp to ensure optimal performance the guys did not let us down. The 5th and final stage of the CODM World Championship LATAM qualifier was upon us, and the guys closed it out as the number ONE team in Brazil!! SKADE will be attending our first ever World Championship in December and the battle is for $2.000.000!!

The CSGO squad was the last team to end their summer break, but they didn’t come back to hit the brakes. They crushed the pedal to the floor and only nine days after they came back from the break, they were not only qualified for the main stages of European Development Championship #5. They were champions of IronWar Grand Prix!!
As we got close to rounding up August our PUBG squad arrived at their bootcamp to prepare for and play the final stage of the PCS#5 qualifiers. In a punishing and unforgiving format, the guys had a super solid start to things, but on the final day the format came to bite us in the rear end. In the final 2 out of 18 maps it became clear that we would not make the main event. Still, we made it into 3 out of 4 major events giving points towards PUBG Global Championships this year. With a format where partnered teams pretty much have a free ride to Globals we put up an amazing fight and preparations for future tournaments have begun!
SKADE
With time to plan things and get more structure in place while the players had their break, we feel more ready than ever. New projects will be announced shortly, new, and bigger tournaments are on the horizon and SKADE will be a name to look out for in 2021. ?
“We have been taking steps on a scale of what Armstrong did on the moon lately, and it really does feel like the sky is the limit right now. The energy at the office and the dedication and work morale of our players is incredible. Everyone knows that hard work and dedication is the road to success… and we have lots of both!” – Founder, Kim-Erik Aanes
