Summer Beach Reads
Hailing from Connecticut, I spent many summers between Mason’s Island and Nantucket. Summer vacation for me conjures up memories of sandy beaches, chilly Atlantic Ocean dips, and plenty of lobster salad. As I embark on my own summer vacation this year, I also know that apart from relaxing on a beautiful beach and eating well, I will dive into the local real estate scene. It’s been a passion of mine since I was seven years old. I would race down the stairs and open the front door early on Sunday mornings for the homes section of The Hartford Courant to look at the most recent floorplans. I have always been fascinated by the study of how people live.

Pausing for a moment from my normal routine gives me time to reflect on my own real estate business and what makes The Boland Team so successful. The answer is not only in caring about how our clients live and what they need but also the extraordinary people who contribute to the team’s success. My editor keeps me on track with my weekly blog posts, always raising the bar, the incredibly supportive management team at the Corcoran group gives us world class research, training and marketing talent. And of course, my own individual dedicated team members, Juestina Lu and Lawrence Williams, who always make me proud for their professionalism.
