Summer 2023 Internship Experience

This summer, I had the opportunity to serve as an Associate Intern in Commercial Analytics at KMK Consulting Inc. During?this period,?I had the privilege of working with large transactional datasets using SQL on Vortex, KMK's comprehensive data operations and analytics platform. This allowed me to manipulate and analyze data effectively. Additionally, I gained expertise?in summarizing physician-level prescription data, field force call activity,interpreting Xponent,DDD and became familiar with concepts of deciling and targeting.

Also I had the opportunity to present my research on a therapeutic area.This hands-on experience not only expanded my knowledge of commercial analytics but also deepened my understanding of drug commercialization, highlighting the dynamic nature of the industry and its multifaceted aspects.

I am immensely grateful to Jing Yu, Justin Mignatti , Setu Kanani and Jay Thakar for their unwavering support which played a pivotal role in refining my skills and cultivating an enhanced professional outlook in my work.

I am deeply indebted to my esteemed professors at the The University of Texas at Dallas , who equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a valuable asset in my internship.

As this fulfilling internship nears its end, I find myself reflecting on the invaluable experiences and opportunities I have encountered at KMK Consulting Inc. Not only did it provide a platform to apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom, but?also laid a solid foundation for my future endeavors.
