I'd want to think back on one of my most fulfilling experiences as I wrap up the final two weeks of my summer internship. I had the chance to work as a Data Analyst Intern at APPERTURE HEALTH throughout the summer. Like most other international students, finding my first internship was difficult. However, with constant effort and numerous applications, I was able to secure this position. APPERTURE is FOCUSED on amplifying VALUE in healthcare.
The ten-week term went by in an instant, yet I will always cherish the memories of this adventure. This was a crucial experience for me as someone with a background in business and a step in the correct direction.
My internship begun with getting a brief knowledge about healthcare domain and with team building activities. I got the chance to work on a variety of projects involving various types of data during my internship at Apperture Health, where I was able to comprehend the crucial emphasis areas in any data and how to effectively analyze them to produce useful insights and results. My regular duties included collecting and validating data, creating data models, and extracting business insights. I developed my analytical abilities during my internship and honed my skills with programs like Python, MS Excel, and R. The chance to see firsthand how the healthcare sector and its data are used in many ways across several sectors was priceless.
It goes without saying that my time spent working with the Apperture team was the best part of my summer. I want to express my gratitude to Apperture team. An extra special thank you to Ambarish (Ambi) Ambegaonkar for being an outstanding mentor and, more importantly, for providing unwavering support over the summer.
