Summer 2022 Internship Experience at Qorvo

This Summer, I had the honor of working as an IT Intern at Qorvo, Inc. - an organization focused on transforming how we live, work, play, and communicate!

Before my first day, I can still clearly recall how apprehensive I was and how many questions I had. But during my first week, I forgot all about my concerns when I realized I was working in a supportive environment. I learned more than just how to work as an employee and get the job done; rather, I discovered how to balance my professional and personal life. Over 10 weeks, I designed and utilized my programming skills to deliver the work assigned to me. I got to learn new tools and technologies and get hands-on experience.

And given my multi-pronged role as an Intern with Qorvo, my coursework as a Graduate Student of Information Technology and Management at The University of Texas at Dallas , with courses including Data Visualization, Applied Machine Learning, Database Foundations in SQL, and Advanced Statistics, was massively helpful.

My first ever professional experience has been amazing, challenging, and a great learning experience. I want to thank the team at Qorvo, Steve Christie , Joe Donahoe , Sasidhar Gunturu , and Travis Burgess Jr. , for patiently guiding, supporting, and mentoring me at each step of the internship. Also, I want to extend my gratitude to Mark Thouin and Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas , for giving me this opportunity. Last but not least, a special shoutout to my friends in North Carolina, Sakshe Dongre , Aniket T. , Aviral Jain , Ansel Fernandes , Shreyas Haritha Guruswamy , Cavin Roger Nunes , and Supraja Reddy G. for making moving to a new city fun, easy and even exuberant!
