Summation CT

  1.  It consists of _two or more primary windings_ which are connected to feeders to be summated and a _single secondary winding_ which feeds a current proportional to the summated primary current.
  2.  It is used for comparing the relay quantities derived from the current in the 3phase of the primary circuit.
  3.  It converts the 3phase system in to positive, negative and zero sequence components.
