Summary of AEinnova's participation in the EU Sustainable Energy Week

The annual flagship event organized by the European Commission, brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards renewables for clean, secure and efficient power. In 2019, activities are focused around the theme ‘Shaping Europe’s Energy Future’. Now in its 14th year, EUSEW is bigger and livelier than ever with over 90 policy sessions, more than 4,000 registered participants, 380 speakers, and 100+ networking opportunities.

AEinnova has participated in several workshops during the 3 days conference related with:

• Debating policies to deliver carbon-free EU.
• Sustainable finance for innovations and energy efficiency.
• Preparing the European energy system for the impacts of climate change.
• Empowering and financing sustainable energy projects.
• Speed up the energy transition by raising social acceptance.

In parallel, our CEO, David Comellas has been in charge of commercial networking in the startup Area.

It is remarkable that only 40 startups of the European Union have been invited to present their technologies in the EU Sustainable Energy Week.
