I am a big believer in teams having a suitably detailed, one year rolling roadmap at the ready. The trick??Suitably detailed roadmap items.
Think of it as progressively disclosing options/solutions.

1 年Great explanation and examples of a lean-agile roadmap. Slightly unrelated but I think important, the use of the term ‘bet’ does come with some cultural issues due to its connection to gambling (I’ve had feedback on this from several sources when I’ve used it in the past). Maybe switching out ‘bet’ to something like ‘experiment’ might be more inclusive

1 年This is a fantastic layout! I've seen a few others that attempt to do something similar, but I always felt like they were still missing key elements. I love how this approach maps everything back to the goal, makes it clear that future items still need to be validated, and captures learnings as items move forward.

1 年Agree and have had this kind of "deal" in place where trust is high and even only accepting up to 6 months as having any kind of plan. Requires pretty rare environments and generally evidence of metronomic quality delivery. Like the format. ????
