International Post COVID Child?Education Summit

Unless you have been living under a rock, you don’t have to look too deeply to understand that the prevalence of child suicide is on the rise. The Pandemic has only added to the scores of children/young adults that felt the need to take their own lives. What a very tragic situation for both children and the parents who had nurtured them up until their last breath.
?
You see, I have a God Daughter, age 11 who recently was hospitalized because of a planned suicide. What a shock this was to hear, she is a beautiful blue eyed blonde child with a warm personality. Where to place the blame, on the Mother with her choice of husband, the Pandemic or whatever force was lurking inside this child’s brain.
?
She is okay and her planned suicide was an attempt to reach out for help. Her mother feels that she is past the crisis and is under the care of a Child Psychologist. The question is, “is this sweet little girl out of the woods, or is she just okay for now?”
?
When looking for the answer to this question, I saw the need to reach out to top experts in the field so that parents would have a guide or a plan that they could follow.
?
Now, it’s not only children that are taking their lives on a daily basis but full grown adults, many with great jobs, stable home lives and more. What makes these people feel so desperate to take their own lives?
?
In my research I found a group of truly World-Class experts that could help all of those people that I have spoken about, to understand the psyche and work to save lives.
?
This became the day of understanding for my upcoming International Post COVID Child Education Summit.
Day 5, Saturday October 23 the last day of the Summit:

When reaching out to these fine people, they jumped at the opportunity to help all of you out there who might be living with mental health issues or are worried about your children sliding down the path of destruction.
Let’s look at a handful of Summit speakers who will help us navigate through the mind field of mental challenges:

?
Her daughter had a planned suicide when she was a teen and has had over 5 more episodes since and is now 37 years old. She will tell you that the urge or the draw to take one’s life doesn’t just disappear with age.
?
"How to Stop Teen Suicide" Includes "'The Talk' That Saves Lives"
Is the topic of her presentation on our Summit and she shares her TEDx Talk which is absolutely gripping and the first time I listened to it, I just sat in silence for several minutes digesting it all.
Jackie goes on to say, “It's every parent's worst nightmare and it can be prevented.
A guilt-nightmare that's shared by everyone around you.
We all know someone struggling with the guilt-nightmare even though they may not be talking about it.
According to the Center for Disease Control one out of every four young adults is struggling to stay alive.
We're talking about suicide.”
·???????We are not talking with Jackie Simmons about looking for the signs that your kid's at risk
·???????Jackie Simmons is going to show us how to prevent suicidal thinking so that you're reducing your child's risk factors
DR. NAN NELSON

TEACHING CHILDREN ABOUT GRIEF, DEATH AND DYING
Using Caterpillars, Cocoons and Butterflies!

Dr. Nelson answers the following questions:
?“Have your children ever asked you questions that make you uncomfortable?or at a loss?to know what to say, or?how much to say?”
“When this happens do you think, my parents did this...but I'm not sure that's what I want to do. What a sticky subject?that I thought I had time before I had to answer that one.
What will other parents think if I tell my kid this, and they tell other kids?”
