Sugar is Destroying Your Body

Sugar is Destroying Your Body

But not for the reason you think.

Let me explain.

If we gather all the possible wholesome foods in the world, only a small percentage of them are naturally sweet—think fruits, milk, and some vegetables.

Let’s call this 20–30% out of all possible foods (an estimate).

Now, if you consume sugar with everything, transitioning to a healthy lifestyle becomes very challenging—you've essentially erected a huge barrier to entry.

My pro tip: wean yourself off sugar!

Plus, the younger you start, the better!

I weaned off sugar when I turned 300, and look how great I look at age 583!

Once you reduce or remove sugar, you’ll begin to appreciate the other flavours life has to offer us.

Don’t think of it as sweetness versus everything else.

Rather, sweetness is just one flavour on a spectrum of many.

Suddenly, you’ll notice that:

  • Plain natural yoghurt isn’t so bad anymore; it’s tangy!
  • Black coffee tastes pleasantly acidic.
  • Lemonade made from fresh lemon and just water is amazingly sour!
  • Dark chocolate, though bitter, has a rich, unique taste.
  • Mint in hot water has a refreshing, cooling flavour!

It takes a little discipline, but the payoff is colossal—I promise you.

As always, I wish you the best of health!

P.S. Cut out sweeteners too; we're trying to retrain our taste buds.
