As ARMYs from all around the world tuned in to watch live broadcasts of BTS's performance of "Yet To Come in Busan," a startling hashtag started trending on Twitter, suggesting that BTS member Suga is a flat-earther.

For those who are unaware, persons who subscribe to the conspiracy theory that the world is flat, rather than spherical, are known as "flat earthers." But what might cause someone to believe that Suga was a part of such a ridiculous belief?

Well, his attire was the culprit. Suga donned a t-shirt that read, "The Earth is flat," for the most of the Busan setlist. Didn't you know?" This spurred the amusing ARMYs to tweet some humorous responses, which led to the phrase "Yoongi Flat Earther" being a hot topic on Twitter.

Despite the counterintuitive trending of the tag, several fans were confused as to why Suga would wear such a T-shirt. It turns out that the item is from the model Vetement‘s FW22 lookbook. The entire catalogue dealt with contentious and divisive subjects like the flat earth idea, Bitcoin, extraterrestrial conspiracies, and 5-G and was based on global subcultures. Although the company doesn't directly support or oppose these issues, it is clear that all of the designs have a humorous undertone.

ARMYs believe Suga chose the t-shirt for its satirical punch, which came full circle seconds after BTS took a jab at their words being twisted by the media during their live performance.
