This week, our featured team members are Cheryl Anderson, Head of Safeguarding at Sheffield United and Jon Gray, Head of Facilities Management at HE Barnes.
Cheryl Anderson
?Job Title: Head of Safeguarding
Football Team: Doncaster Rovers and the underdog in each Premier League season
?Length of time in post: 2 years
?Brief description of role: My role is to oversee all aspects of safeguarding for the club. This includes the Academy, Women and RTC.
?My day can be very varied from sitting and having a cupper with a staff member or player to reviewing policy, ensuring we are compliant and meeting our required standards to attending match day to delivering training.?
?I work with a great team of safeguarding officers throughout the club and together as a team we ensure safeguarding is embedded in everything we do. It has been amazing to see how far we have come with safeguarding especially in the current climate and circumstances we have had to face.
?My main priority is to ensure we have created a safe environment where everyone is valued and listened to and respected.
?Hobbies/Interests: Football, shopping, watching crime dramas and eating out.
Jon Gray
Job Title: Head of Facilities Management
Football Team: Sheffield United
Length of time in post: Over 2 years
Brief description of role: Here to develop and grow the FM part of the business, including being the Managing Director of our cleaning business Solutions4Cleaning, meaning can provide a full FM hard and soft services provision for our clients.
Hobbies/Interests: Huge Blades supporter, love playing cricket, golf and all sports involving a bat and ball.?Loves music, and surprisingly cooking.
